  • Beyond Traditional Threats: Geopolitics and Future Risks in the wider Caspian Region;

Non-traditional security challenges—such as energy vulnerabilities, environmental risks, etc. —affecting the Caspian area.

  • Azerbaijan and Central Asia: C6 Platform

The role of the C6 platform in enhancing political, economic, and connectivity cooperation between Azerbaijan and Central Asian states.

The South Caucasus region’s growing role as a corridor for major transport, energy, and trade initiatives linking Europe and Asia.

The Caucasus Strategic Perspectives journal invites submissions for its upcoming Summer 2026 issue. We welcome original and thought-provoking contributions that critically engage with strategic, political, legal, economic, and security dimensions of sovereignty—particularly as they relate to the Caucasus region and its broader neighborhood. While next issue is to highlight the theme of sovereignty, we also welcome high-quality manuscripts on related and relevant strategic issues concerning the Caucasus and its neighboring regions.

Submission Guidelines:

Articles: 3,000–5,000 words (maximum), including abstract, footnotes, title, and subheadings; Commentaries: 2,200–2500 words, including all the above components; All submissions must be in a Microsoft Word-compatible format; Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another publication at the time of submission; For complete formatting and citation requirements, please refer to the “Guidelines for Authors” section on our website: www.cspjournal.az.
