Caucasus Strategic Perspectives, Volume 5, Issue 1, Summer 2024

Issue Title: “Climate, Environment, Peace and Security in South Caucasus”

Deadline: 15 April 2024

Subtopics:

• Nexus between environment, climate and post-conflict reconstruction;
• Environmental and climate dimension of the conflicts, peace and security;
• Contribution of climate diplomacy to achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals;
• Role of multilateral and summit diplomacy in addressing the climate change;
• Addressing environmental concerns through regional cooperation;
• Challenges for environment and climate in the South Caucasus;
• Management of the water resources in the South Caucasus countries;
• International legal aspects of the climate and environmental problems;
• Ecocide and its judicial implications;
• Linkage between mine action, environment and climate resilience.

Prospective authors should submit 3.000-5.000 word for articles and 2.500-2900 words for commentaries (in both formats including footnotes, abstract, title and sub-titles) for consideration in Microsoft Word-compatible format. Manuscripts submitted to CSP journal should be original and challenging, and should not be under consideration by another publication at the time of submission.

Please note that the journal’s scope is not necessarily limited to the topics listed above; the manuscripts of similar topics that are relevant to the Caucasus region and its neighbourhood are also welcome and will be taken into consideration.

CSP journal’s key goal is to foster stimulating dialogue and exchange of ideas on the Caucasus region and beyond, among practitioners, researchers and scholars from around the world.
