Call for Submissions-Caucasus Strategic Perspectives, Volume 6, Issue 1, Summer 2025
Issue Title: “Role and Relevance of Multilateralism for the South Caucasus countries”
Deadline: 1 April 2025
Subtopics:
- Role of multilateral organizations in addressing climate change, global health crises, and crisis situations in the South Caucasus;
- The ineffectiveness of the OSCE in mediating and resolving the conflicts and promoting regional stability in the South Caucasus;
- Achievements of the United Nations and other international organizations in the area of economic growth, diversification, and infrastructure development in the South Caucasus countries;
- Selective application of international law, double standards and lack of solidarity within multilateral platforms (UN, OSCE, EU) in relation to the South Caucasus;
- Between effectiveness and geopolitical turmoil: lack of the unified cooperation for the South Caucasus within and between regional organizations;
- Strengthening regional cooperation (trilateral or quadrilateral) formats in the South Caucasus in light of shrinking leverage of multilateral organizations;
- Role of the multilateral organizations in mine action: the cases in the South Caucasus;
- Vision of the South Caucasus countries for the future of effective multilateralism.
Prospective authors should submit 3.000-5.000 words (max.) for articles and 2.500-2800 words for commentaries (including footnotes, abstract, title and sub-titles in both formats) in Microsoft Word-compatible format. Manuscripts submitted to CSP journal should be original and challenging, and should not be under consideration by another publication at the time of submission.
Please note that the Journal’s scope is not necessarily limited to the topics listed above; the manuscripts of similar topics that are relevant to the Caucasus region and its neighbourhood are also welcome and will be taken into consideration.
